Introduction

Dr. Coetzee owned and operated a management company overseeing golf courses and golf centers. He received the “Regional Club Fitter of the Year” award in 2003 from PING Golf. He is a certified club fitter. At one point his company was one of the largest accounts for Ping, Callaway, Mizuno, Wilson, and Taylor Made Golf on the east coast, due to his large retail operation and internet sales. He also ran one of the largest junior golf programs in NJ between 2003 and 2008.  

Dr. Coetzee is a European Tour Caddy winner, having been on the bag with Paul Peterson with his victory at the 2016 Czech Masters. Under Dr. Coetzee’s coaching and tutelage, his players have won on various tours including European Tour, Asian Tour, Japan Tour, and National Club Professional level, as well as several mini and state-level tournament winners in both the amateur and professional ranks.  Victories include: National Club Pro Championship, PGA Championships and State Open Championships of NJ and Mid-Atlantic Section, Runner Up: US Woman’s Open. Dr. Coetzee is known for his ability to address the Yips, which he feels is more a neurological anxiety-associated disorder than a purely psychological one.
